Nobody showcases the meaninglessness of right-wing rhetoric better than Donald Trump, who struggles to produce coherent sentences even when he’s at his most lucid.
The disgraced ex-president proved he’s still the king of idiot mad-libs, where buzzwords at plugged in to complain about subject x, no matter how nonsensical or tenuous the connection might be, with his latest public statement complaining about the U.S. Women’s Soccer team.
Trump decided the Women’s Soccer team had uncharacteristically poor performance (only a bronze medal at the Olympics!) because they were “too woke” and “spend too much time thinking about Radical Left politics” instead of focusing on soccer:

Of course, this has nothing to do with soccer or “wokeism” — Trump couldn’t care less about either. This is about Trump’s longstanding grudge towards Meghan Rapinoe, the aforementioned “woman with the purple hair” who “played terribly” (she scored two goals in the consolation match and led the team to a 4-3 victory over Australia).
Rapinoe famously refused to visit the “fucking” Trump White House after winning the Women’s World Cup in 2019 and is a vocal supporter of anti-racism activist Colin Kaepernick, both of which infuriated Trump for the disrespect towards him and the promotion of the “kneeling for the anthem” protest, which Trump turned into a racist culture war issue with his attacks on NFL players protesting racism and police brutality.
Seeing as Trump has never done anything more athletic than play golf, perhaps Mr. Glass House shouldn’t be throwing any stones at superstars — especially since he’s just resentful that they hate him and everything he stands for.
