Trump cracks with frantic outburst targeting Liz Cheney, Lindsey Graham, and George W. Bush

One of the biggest factors to shape Trump’s post-presidency has been his bans from both Facebook and Twitter. After he incited the deadly January 6th insurrection, the digital giants removed his access to their platforms, denying him his favorite megaphones in the process. He’s still managed to disseminate his deranged thoughts to his followers and enemies though by releasing sporadic statements through intermediaries like his spokesperson Liz Harrington.

Last night, Harrington released Trump’s latest blasts of word salad. Once again they found him smearing members of his own party in frustration and once again they were riddled with outright lies and dangerous propaganda.

He starting off by trashing former President George W. Bush, referring to him as a RINO (Republican In Name Only) and mockingly invoking his nickname “Dubya.” He slammed Bush’s disastrous and failed wars in the Middle East and decried the former president’s support of Rep. Liz Cheney’s reelection bid. Presumably, the petulant little outburst was prompted by the announcement that Bush will be fundraising for Cheney. She has been one of Trump’s harshest GOP critics and a frequent target of his ire.

Trump followed up his Bush and Cheney barrage with more of his reheated complaints about the 2020 elections. He complained that the “Fake News Media” continues to call his claims of mass voter fraud “baseless and disproven lies” and stated that his evidence is “massive and staggering.” The truth, of course, is that the election was not stolen, Trump has no evidence, and everyone outside his MAGA cult knows it.

The former president then circled back to lambast other members of his own party. He went after Senators Mike Lee and Lindsey Graham, the latter of whom served as one of his most obsequious public lapdogs during his time in the Oval Office.

“I spent virtually no time with Senators Mike Lee of Utah, or Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, talking about the 2020 Presidential Election Scam or, as it is viewed by many, the ‘Crime of the Century.’ Lindsey and Mike should be ashamed of themselves for not putting up the fight necessary to win,” said Trump.

The attack was likely prompted by excerpts from the new book from Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, Peril, which claims that the two senators investigated Trump’s election claims and found no compelling evidence. Graham even referred to the Trump team’s efforts to prove fraud as suitable for “third grade.”

Trump then went on to repeat his debunked claims about voter fraud evidence yet again before bashing Lee and Graham again.

“Mike Lee, Lindsey Graham, and all of the other Republicans who were unwilling to fight for the Presidency of the United States, which would have included at least an additional four Republican Senators, two in Georgia, one in Michigan, one in Arizona, are letting the Democrats get away with the greatest Election Hoax in history—a total con job!” said Trump.

Trump finished up the statement with his doomsayer complaints about “losing the country” and the threat posed by people trying to be “politically correct.” At this point, if any of the drivel that dribbles out of this man’s mouth is convincing to you, you’re beyond help.
