The amount of sheer idiocy that now emanates from the Republican Party is now so enormous that it is difficult to keep up with it all.
As a minor public service, we at Occupy Democrats try to document as much of the GOP stupidity as we can, but certain right-wing professional politicians consistently rise to the top of the rankings when it comes to displays of seemingly sub-par IQ numbers and deserve ever more frequent attention to their antics.
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO), the high school dropout who parleyed her G.E.D. and a weapons-themed pub into a two-year term in the House of Representatives, is among that group.
Although she has publicly denied being a believer in the lunatic QAnon conspiracy theory that postulates that a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles operate a global child sex trafficking ring and conspired against Donald Trump during his presidency, Rep. Boebert continues to say and do things that belie her denial of adherence to the insane cult’s beliefs.
Take the tweet she posted in the early morning hours today that tried to indirectly insinuate that President Biden is among that imaginary group of pedophiles.
The Boys & Girls Club was a big part of last night’s Congressional Baseball Game.
So of course Joe Biden showed up.

Congresswoman Boebert somehow managed to connect the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, one of the charities that benefited from the proceeds of last night’s annual Congressional Baseball Game, to Biden’s motivation for attending the event.
Never mind the fact that the president might want to circulate among congressional representatives who are in the middle of a delicate negotiation over the future of the nation’s debt limit or the passage of his agenda in the form of the $1.1 trillion infrastructure bill or the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.
Nope, in Rep. Boebert’s estimation, the reason Joe Biden attended the Congressional Baseball Game was to apparently sidle up to young girls, smell their hair, and fondle them.
It is an insinuation that is so insane and misguided that it would be laughable were it not so blatantly obvious an attempt at malicious political sabotage.
The response to the Colorado lawmaker’s post was swift and brutal.
Sorry to bother you, Rep. Boebert (inquiries to your office and campaign haven't receive a reply).
I'm hoping you can share some insight on how you came to use campaign funds to pay your personal rent two months in a row.

The fact that Congresswoman Boebert’s idiocy is widely condemned in her own Twitter feed, unfortunately, does not prevent her from reaching the MAGA hordes with her damaging and distrubing false insinuations.
She must be expelled from Congress, something that the House Select Committee on the January 6th insurrection will hopefully assist with when it looks into who among the GOP congressional caucus furnished aid, comfort, and insider knowledge about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s whereabouts to the insurrectionists.
