Ever since winning election in 2020, Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) has been horrifying polite society with her outrageous and unbecoming behavior. Seemingly intent on crossing every line of decency that she possibly can in order to stir up outrage and then claim victimhood, Greene has compared COVID-19 health mandates to the Holocaust, publicly besmirched the transgender daughter of Rep. Marie Newman, accosted and insulted Rep. Ocasio-Cortez in the halls of Congress, accused Rep. Maxine Waters of leading a “terrorist” group — and that doesn’t even begin to scrape the surface of the absolutely unhinged misinformation and conspiracy theories she promotes from her social media accounts on a daily basis.
Now that the 2022 midterms are approaching, we are faced with an even more terrifying prospect: what if there was an entire caucus of Marjorie Taylor-Greenes?
That’s exactly what the Georgia Republican extremist is trying to create. “I need some helpers,” said Taylor Greene to the Washington Examiner after being reached for comment on an endorsement of Graham Allen, a Republican extremist running against Rep. Tom Rice in South Carolina’s 7th district. Taylor Greene disparaged Rep. Rice as a “Swampy RINO Republican” who was “too weak, too timid, and too afraid to fight back against the Democrats’ communist takeover of America.”
I’m proud to be endorsed by a true patriot and great fighter for Country, @mtgreenee We need more reps to be tough like her if we are going to stop the radical takeover of our government by progressive socialists!!! https://t.co/NqSotR8keX

Like it or not, this is the future of the Republican Party. They will try to replace every ostensible moderate with far-right psychopaths, cripple voting rights across the country and continue to abuse undemocratic institutions like the U.S. Senate and the Supreme Court in order to permanently entrench minority rule in the United States — and unless we take drastic action, like abolishing the filibuster to ensure the passage of the Democrats’ voting rights act and expanding the Supreme Court, it’s only a matter of time before they succeed in dismantling our democracy forever.
