Trump issues long diatribe raging at “scammers and hoaxers” taking over America
Thanksgiving may be over, but Donald Trump still hasn’t learned that he should be grateful for the fact that he is not yet in prison for his role in inciting the January 6th insurrection and the many other alleged criminal activities of which he has been accused.
Instead, the former president spent the day after the Thanksgiving holiday, issuing yet another rageaholic press release – this one attacking the authors of one of the series of many tell-all books detailing the inside stories of the Trump administration’s many failures and misdeeds.
Somewhat inexplicably, Trump went after veteran Washington Post investigative journalists Bob Woodward — one of the people who helped bring down President Richard Nixon with his articles exposing the Watergate scandals — and his co-author Robert Costa for a second round of fierce denial and condemnation, coming over two months after their book, Peril, was published, and Trump issued his initial blasts attacking the heavily researched tome.
This time Trump was incensed by the attention that allegations that he was discussing plans to go to war with China as a distraction from his election loss in the final weeks of his presidency have been receiving in recent days.
His press release naturally denied the allegations and attacked the credibility of the two authors while promoting his own alternative vision of his presidency that condemns every already proven accusation against him as a scam and a hoax being promulgated by his many political enemies.
Trump’s strategy of having his press aide, Liz Harrington, post his proclamations to Twitter to get around his permanent ban from the platform begs the question of who he thinks he is influencing with his latest paranoid claims of media persecution.
Judging from the replies to the post, not many are buying his angry and defensive rants.

While it’s astonishing to see Donald Trump still think he can use his denials and disinformation to change the public perception of his actions after his behind the scenes scheming has been revealed by adminsitration insiders, it’s even more astonishing that a significant portion of the country still takes his lying words as the gospel truth.
Until Trump faces legal consequences for his misdeeds, he is still a potent danger to our society and needs to be countered at every turn.
