Marjorie Taylor Greene’s latest display of stupidity is her worst yet
Just when you thought that you couldn’t be shocked by anything else that Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) did or said, the extremist representative posts a Twitter thread that displays her utter lack of any semblance of intelligence in the furtherance of her ignorant and destructive campaign against masks and vaccines as the solution to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Using an apples and oranges comparison between a highly infectious coronavirus and a completely non-transmissible disease like cancer, Rep. Greene tries to make a point that is thoroughly obliterated by her own ignorance, making her a laughing stock with anyone who did manage to pay attention in school.
Here is the thread that Greene posted this morning:
There is so much stupidity packed into these four short tweets that one almost has to admire Greene’s ability to be so wrong about so many things in such a small number of characters.
The responses to her posts demonstrated that most people on Twitter were smart enough to see through the irrelevant graph that Greene included in her tweets in a likely bid to make her conclusions seem scientific.

Wait, cancer’s not contagious. Who would have thunk it?
Narrator: Everyone. Everyone knows that.

It was an uncontested election.

Like is she saying that cancer is contagious?

Oddly enough there is one in trials, made by the same company that developed the Pfizer vaccine. BioNTech quite literally focuses on curing and preventing cancer, that's what they do.

My Q-followers say Ivermectin works.
My data says they send me money.
This is the fact.

Report her tweet, as the rest of us have. It’s misinformation. Don’t engage.

Thankfully, there are many more replies in this vein, with few signs of support for the Georgia extremist’s radically dumb proclamations visible in the comments.
At this point, the question is no longer whether Marjorie Taylor Greene should be expelled from Congress, it’s just how quickly will it happen.
Stripped of her committee assignments, with her congressional pay docked for mask violations, Greene has next to no effectiveness in the role she was elected to work at and instead spends all her time and energy seeking publicity for her tin-foil hat worldview and raising funds from gullible MAGA devotees.
Let’s not wait until the 2022 midterms to rid the House of Representatives of this scourge of deliberate ignorance and misinformation. Expel Marjorie Taylor Greene immediately before she damages our society even further.
