"DESTROYING THE WORLD": Trump shoots down Biden's Russia strategy in outrageous new interview

Only Donald Trump could make you nostalgic for Richard Nixon.

At least that earlier disgraced former president had the decency to fade from public view quietly after he was forced to resign from office.

Trump, on the other hand, is so narcissistic that the idea of not being the constant center of attention is completely incomprehensible to him.

Hence, the undeclared 2024 presidential candidate’s frequent bund rallies and right-wing extremist news organization TV appearances, such as the one he made today on Stuart Varney’s Fox Business program.

Viewers were treated to — or subjected to, depending on your point of view — some prime examples of Trumpian wisdom — or idiocy, depending on your point of view — including commentary on the Russian war in Ukraine that should make just about any sane American eternally grateful that Joe Biden is currently the President of the United States.

Let’s take a look at some of the phoned-in interview through video clips thoughtfully compiled and annotated by Aaron Rupar of the awesome Substack newsletter Public Notice and others.

Trump went off the rails fairly quickly once Varney asked him about how he would handle the current situation in Ukraine. Perhaps cognizant of how poorly his comments calling Putin’s actions “genius” were received by the American public, Trump went off on a tough guy fantasy imagining how he would have reacted differently to the situation.

Unsurprisingly, Trump has no compunctions with using “the n-word” himself as he explains what his military strategy against Russia would be right now.

Having demonstrated how fortunate Americans are that he is no longer the commander-in-chief directing our nation’s response to the invasion initiated by the man who helped support his election to begin with, Trump went on to prove how equally deficient his grasp of climate science truly is.

The talk of the weather, however, provided only a brief respite from Trump’s nuclear obsessions and his attacks on the Biden administration, in particular in regards to the attempts to revive the treaty with Iran that the Trump himself withdrew our country from, creating a new nuclear threat in the Middle East.

Trump’s personal attacks on Biden’s intelligence in this clip may inspire guffaws among critics of the former president whose own intellectual shortcomings were amply demonstrated in this very interview, but a reply like:

“Because he’s stupid. And because they’re stupid. And they shouldn’t be in power anyway. But they’re destroying our country and they may ultimately be responsible for destroying the world.”

is such an immature and childish response to the issue at hand that any sane voter would immediately reject the idea of a second term in office for Trump faster than a Russian conscript would abandon their tank.

What would you expect from a man who believes that the biggest issue in both the upcoming mid-term elections and the 2024 presidential contest is how the 2020 election was “stolen” from him as he claims in the second clip in this thread.

Every time that Occupy Democrats reports on Donald Trump’s post-presidential activities, we invariably get comments asking why don’t we simply ignore him and refuse to give his hateful rhetoric any further oxygen and exposure.

Unfortunately, such a refusal to continue to focus on Trump’s attempts to regain power downplays the danger that a second Trump presidency would pose to the future of the United States.

Trump won’t go away if we simply ignore him. The only way he can truly be countered is by exposing the idiocy, corruption, and narcissism that underlie all his actions and statements to the world and denouncing them loudly.

That and finally holding him accountable for his many misdeeds.
