BREAKING: Trump’s former AG says it would’ve been “crazy” for Pence to overturn the election
The former Attorney General just admitted it would have been “crazy” for former Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the election and threw Donald Trump under the bus on his recent book tour in a new video (embedded below) where he disavows the leader of the Republican party.
Bill Barr is releasing a new book that’s highly critical of his former boss, saying Trump has “shown he has neither the temperament nor persuasive powers to provide the kind of positive leadership that is needed” and that the Republican party should move on from him.”
Intrepid reporter Lauren Windsor just exposed his self-righteous posturing as performative crap at a book signing at the Reagan Library in California.
There, Windsor asks Barr if he had talked to Jon Eastman about his memos detailing a plan to steal the 2020 election by throwing out electors from seven states on January 6th and re-elect Trump in the process.
Attempting to have it both ways, Barr responds that while he thought that Mike Pence changing things was “crazy,” he also believes “There’s nothing inherently wrong with naming an alternative slate of electors.
Windsor continues to press by asking if he had talked to Eastman about this and if he had any awareness of the plan, with Barr deflecting by saying he “had left” by then and that “no one” had told him about it.”
Wanting to get an actual response as to what Barr knew and why he resigned, Windsor asks him if he had resigned because he didn’t want to help Trump overturn the election, and if not, what was the reason? At this point, a staffer intervenes, and security starts physically interjecting by throwing Windsor out of the event.
Before she is thrown out, Windsor gets to the point.
“How do you sleep at night,” she says, and Barr Sheepishly replies, “it’s in the book, it’s in the book”.
“You didn’t go public with this information; what you did was saved it all for a book. You traitor,” Windsor shoots back.
That’s the truth. Bill Barr isn’t some self-righteous, holier than thou member of the Trump administration. He is no whistleblower. He didn’t take action to stop an attempted coup and an assault on the Capitol.
When Trump went too far, and he couldn’t stomach it, he resigned and kept quiet like a coward, saving the information to cash in later with a tell-all book. Even when confronted with this, he still revealingly replies, “it’s in the book”, cashing in until the end.
Bill Barr is a coward and a traitor.
