EXTREMIST: Video proves Marco Rubio supports the most draconian laws challenging women’s reproductive freedom
The anti-abortion views of Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) are so extreme that he does not support exemptions for cases involving rape or incest.
The leak of a Supreme Court opinion signaling the end of Roe v. Wade means that fifty years of legal abortion access could soon come to an end for large parts of the country.
In the state of Florida, Democrats are bringing to light the extreme views of U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, who has long opposed reproductive rights, even in cases of rape and incest.
A 45-second video created by the Florida Democratic Party shows Rubio spouting over and over again about the need to overturn Roe and his view that a fetus is entitled to protection under U.S. laws, meaning abortion should not be allowed at ANY point during a pregnancy.
Rubio’s views are so extreme that he openly advocates for survivors of rape to be forced to carry their rapist’s baby to term.

“I believe that human life is valuable irrespective of the circumstances of its creation and deserves the protection of our law,” Rubio says in the video.

The overturning of Roe means that abortion could be illegal in at least 13 states and it would allow the 15-week ban in Florida to remain in place. It would also open the possibility of a stricter restriction of reproductive rights in the Sunshine State.

The U.S. Senate recently held a failed 51-49 vote to codify Roe v. Wade into law. Rubio was spotted flying back to Florida in first class and a photo was shared with Occupy Democrats. Airport officials confirmed to us that Rubio exited the plane after landing from a separate exit on the tarmac in an effort to avoid facing angry constituents who could have questioned him regarding this massive rollback of legal rights.

A recent poll found that some 60% of Americans said abortion should always be legal.
