UNBRIDLED RAGE! Trump melts down in unhinged Truth Social rant as Georgia D.A. gets closer to indictment
Donald Trump is running out of lies – and time. As the case against him brought by Fulton County Georgia D.A. Fani Willis ramps up, subpoenas have been issued and grand jury testimony is expected to begin this week in the District Attorney’s increasingly solid case against Trump. In behavior befitting the twice impeached former President – who is well known for throwing online temper tantrums – he took to his fledgling social media platform Truth Social to rant.

Trump’s January 2nd call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger – four days before the Capitol Riot – is at the heart of Willis’ case. It was a secretly recorded call in which the then-still President could be overheard demanding that Raffensperger “find” him the votes he needed to win Georgia — 11,780 to be exact — and threatening him with prosecution if he refused.
“I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state,” was the infamous quote from Trump.
Brad Raffensperger published a partial transcript of the call — which was attended by several members of his GA Secretary of State staff — in his book Integrity Counts, published last November:
“I’m telling you, Ryan. They’re shredding ballots. And you should look at that very carefully. Because that’s so illegal. You know, you may not even believe it because it’s so bad. But they’re shredding ballots because they think we’re going to eventually get there…Because we’ll eventually get into Fulton. In my opinion, it’s never too late…So, that’s the story. Look, we need only 11,000 votes. We have far more than that as it stands now.”
The “Ryan” that Trump is talking to is Ryan Germany – Raffensperger’s general counsel. Trump goes on to address Brad Raffensperger in regards to provisional ballots, which the Secretary of State tells the then-President, are perfectly legal. Trump’s response:
“Look, Brad. I got to get…I have to find 12,000 votes, and I have them times a lot. And therefore I won the state. That’s before we go to the next step, which is in the process of right now. you know, and I watched you this morning, and you said, well, there was no criminality. But I mean all of this stuff. When you talk about no criminality, I think it’s very dangerous for you to say that.”
Some would consider that “very dangerous” comment to be a threat, something that does not bode well for Trump.
Fulton County Georgia D.A. Willis’ investigation into any illegal activity by Trump began with that call but has since expanded into actions that could be considered “racketeering” under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). A 109-page report by the Brookings Institute into the Fulton County District Attorney’s case stated on page 103 that:
“Other possible statutory violations include an array of general prohibitions not limited to conduct impacting on elections, but rather focused on more broadly applicable duties encompassing election misconduct of the kind here alleged, such as false statements in connections with official matters, attempts to influence government officials in improper ways, solicitation of action violative of public officer oaths, and several other provisions.”
Though Trump has claimed Willis’ investigation is a partisan “witch hunt,” District Attorney Willis insists she is doing her due diligence as a prosecutor.
“As District Attorney, I do not have the right to look the other way on any crime that may have happened in my jurisdiction,” she has boldly declared.
In January, during a rally, Trump accused Willis, along with fellow African-American District Attorneys Letitia James and Alvin Bragg, of being racist. Using inflammatory rhetoric, Trump encouraged his supporters to “protest” in various cities. Acyn tweeted video from the rally:

After CNN reported this speech District Attorney Willis was prompted to seek added security protection from the FBI.
“I am asking that you immediately conduct a risk assessment of the Fulton County Courthouse and Government Center, and that you provide protective resources to include intelligence and federal agents,” Willis wsrote on a letter to the Bureau.
In addition to Brad Raffensperger – who has said that he would comply with the District Attorney’s office – his general counsel, Ryan Germany, Interim Deputy Secretary of State, Gabe Sterling, and several others connected to the call are expected to testify as well.
With firsthand witness accounts, Trump’s own voice, and documents already turned over to the Fulton County Georgia D.A., it seems like Fani Willis is poised to turn Trump’s “perfect” call into a flawless prosecution.
