The House Select Committee investigating the violent insurrection and invasion of the Capitol Building on January 6th, 2021 has just announced its list of witnesses who will be testifying when the televised hearings resume tomorrow morning. MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin tweeted out the witness list early this afternoon.

Some of the witnesses listed elicited surprise from political pundits on social media, particularly the inclusion of Trump’s former 2020 campaign manager, Bill Stepien.

Stepien joined the  Trump campaign as the campaign manager brought in to replace Brad Parscale in July of 2020 after Parscale was blamed for the disastrously ill-attended Tulsa, Oklahoma rally in the midst of the COVID pandemic that was notable for its punking by TikTok trolls who reserved tickets with no intention of ever attending the rally. It was also the likely location that Republican Herman Cain managed to catch the case of COVID that he eventually died from.

Prior to becoming Trump’s campaign manager, Stepien was a low-profile political foot-soldier most closely associated with former Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie — at least until Christie “lost confidence” in him for his role in the infamous “Bridgegate” scandal that caused massive traffic jams in Fort Lee, New Jersey, by closing down access lanes to the George Washington Bridge going into New York City as political retaliation against the then-Fort Lee mayor.

His appearance before the House Select committee tomorrow could mean that he has information to testify about concerning Trump’s knowledge of the actual election results which clearly demonstrated that he had lost to Joe Biden.

The presence of former Fox News Political Editor Chris Stirewalt on the witness list also suggests that the Committee is intent on proving that Trump was well informed of his election loss and establishing his criminal intent in making his stolen election claims.

Stirewalt was the figure at Fox News who made the fateful call to predict that Trump had lost in Arizona, one of the swing states that led to Biden’s victory. He left Fox News in the aftermath of that heavily criticized election night call that drew the ire of the trump supporters that made up the majority of Fox News’ viewership.

The presence of BJay Pak, a Republican who was formerly the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, hints that Trump’s attempts to “find 11,780 votes” in that state’s election tally will come under scrutiny in tomorrow’s hearings.

The same can be said of former Republican City Commissioner of Philadelphia Al Schmidt who oversaw the vote count in that city in the swing state of Philadelphia and has vociferously defended the integrity and transparency of the ballot counting there.

Make sure you have your popcorn ready when the Committee resumes its televised hearings tomorrow morning at 10 AM Eastern Daylight Time. It looks like it’s going to get mighty interesting.
