SAD VICTORY: Trump-endorsed candidate who praised the saving of “white life” wins primary
Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), the woman who thanked President Trump for helping to preserve “white life” – has won her primary. Miller spoke alongside Trump at his Illinois rally the day after the Supreme Court’s ruling overturning Roe v. Wade and told the Save America rally goers:
“President Trump, on behalf of all the MAGA patriots in America, I want to thank you for the historic victory for white life in the Supreme Court yesterday.”
The crowd cheered. And the narcissistic insurrectionist in chief wasted no time in taking credit for the Supreme Court’s travesty, boasting: “Yesterday the court handed down a victory for the Constitution, a victory for the rule of law, and above all, a victory for life.”
The MAGA crowd may have cheered, but the public quickly called the congresswoman out on her words. Miller Spokesman Isaiah Wartman blamed his boss’ words on a “mix-up.” But the public wasn’t buying it.
Whether it was a slip or not, the audience heard “white life” and didn’t flinch. They applauded. https://t.co/Kr5CsnkdNh

That’s not surprising. Especially considering that, almost immediately after taking office, Miller complimented Hitler, saying in a speech, “Hitler was right on one thing. He said, ’Whoever has the youth has the future.”
Mary Miller, who was just sworn in to rep Southern IL in Congress:
“If we win a few elections, we’re still going to be losing unless we win the hearts and minds of our children. This is the battle. Hitler was right on one thing. He said, ‘Whoever has the youth has the future.’” https://t.co/ZXsewI7CIU

Neither of these comments is surprising considering that one of her closest allies in Congress is none other than Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who is no stranger to bigoted rhetoric. Greene donated to Miller’s campaign last year, according to NBC5. Around the same time, Greene was criticized for saying, “I could not trust the church leadership to protect my children from pedophiles,” in regards to the Catholic Church.
Apparently, Greene didn’t know her congressional BFF had a convicted pedophile working on her campaign.
Brad Graven – who pled guilty and did jail time for luring an underage boy to a parking lot for sex back in 2005 – not only actively fundraiser for Rep. Miller, but acted as her personal chauffeur, NBC5 reports
Whether she walks back the comments or not, Miller’s remarks are in lockstep with the right-wing’s marketing of the Great Replacement theory — a far-right, xenophobic, and racist conspiracy theory used for centuries, falsely claiming that the white population is being “replaced” by non-whites, particularly black and brown immigrants. But recently it’s been used by Republicans to spread fear among their base, leading to a rise in hate crimes.
Miller infamously told a crowd on the campaign trail: “A politician is known by their votes and by who they hang around with.”
Well, I’d say being chauffeured around by a pedophile, and cozying up to a racist insurrectionist who asked to be pardoned for helping to plan a coup – tells us all we need to know about Mary Miller.
