INVOLVED: One America’s Christina Bobb briefed Trump lawyers on phony elector scheme
Christina Bobb, a One America News anchor, reportedly briefed a group of Donald Trump’s attorneys on the details of a scheme to replace the legitimate electors pleaded to Joe Biden with Trump electors on December 13, 2020, just a day before the states were required to cast their electoral votes, according to an email reviewed by POLITICO.
Bobb “emailed several Trump campaign aides and allies to discuss arrangements for the false electors. Teeing up those pro-Trump electors to represent states that Joe Biden won in 2020 was a linchpin of Trump’s efforts to challenge his loss,” POLITICO states.
The email, which was previously undisclosed, demonstrates that Bobb learned of the alternate elector plot from a Trump campaign official who spoke to dedicated teams of schemers from across the country and related the progress of those discussions to the One America News anchor.
Bobb then forwarded the update to a bevy of lawyers working for the then-president, including Rudy Giuliani, senior campaign official and attorney Boris Epshteyn, Jenna Ellis, Joe diGenova, and Victoria Toensing.
The update relayed the difficulties that the phony electors were having in gaining access to the state capitol buildings in various states where they wanted to hold their swearing in ceremonies meant to lend an air of legitimacy to a completely illegitimate enterprise.
“’They have a friendly legislator who can get them in,’ she wrote of pro-Trump electors in Nevada. But Bobb didn’t seem certain the plan would work: ‘They are prepared to do it on the steps if needed,’ she added,” according to POLITICO.
“Working to get a ceremonial photo. May have to do the paperwork somewhere else. **Democrats are voting by Zoom. It’s in the statute that they have to be in person,” Bobb said in the email.
Bobb’s email memo provides additional evidence of Trump’s coordinated attempt to overturn the election results by subterfuge in other states as well, adding to the considerable evidence already gathered and presented by the House Select Committee investigating the roots of the January 6th insurrection.
The email from Bobb also revealed the level of support within the states for the appointment of phony electors.
“Alternate pro-Trump electors in Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada signed certificates claiming that they formally represented the voters of their states, despite Biden’s victories. In New Mexico and Pennsylvania, alternate electors did so while qualifying that they should only see their votes count if Trump prevailed in court challenges,” author Betsy Woodruff Swan writes in her POLITICO article.
This seems to indicate that the fake electors in Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada face considerably more legal liability for their actions than there New Mexico and Pennsylvania participants.
Hopefully, with the addition of the evidence that will be presented tonight at the House Select Committee’s prime time hearing, enough evidence of pre-planned seditious activity will have been presented to ensure that all those involved in the anti-democratic scheme to reverse the legitimate results off there 2020 presidential election— including Christina Bobb — will be prosecuted and held accountable for their crimes.
