OPINION: Trump supporters are losing it over the Mar-a-Lago FBI search
Trump’s home of Mar A Lago was just raided by the FBI and right now the Trump world is losing it. They have been verbally attacking the FBI and the Department of Justice since the House Select Committee began their hearings on the January 6th insurrection, and now they are on MAGA-tears overload.
Trump supporters are calling for civil war, telling their people to lock and load. We also have Trump-supporting commentators calling for the FBI to be abolished. Yes, you read that right. The same people who spread the lies that the Democratic Party wants to defund the police are the ones calling for the FBI to be abolished. We have congressional officials tweeting the flag upside down, saying it’s in distress.

Whatever happened to supporting law and order, right? When it comes to the Trump Republican party, they feel they are exempt from the rules. But that’s not how justice and the rule of law work. They apply to everyone.
For months, Trump supporters have spread lies and propaganda about Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden, trying every which way they could distract the American people from the reality of how corrupt Trump really is. With this big news coming out tonight, it will no longer work.

We need to stay focused, and, when we talk with our family members, friends, and anyone else who might be a Trump supporter who believes in the distractions and propaganda, we must counteract those lies with facts, because this raid changes everything on account of the rarity of a former President being raided by the FBI.

I hope the FBI and local authorities are paying attention to the social media climate right now because of how dangerous a cult MAGA really is. To be safe, we must always prepare for the worst while we hope for the best in any of these outcomes. Everything the Trump world does is reactionary.
