DARK BRANDON: Biden's legislative victories inspire his supporters to post memes all over the web

Dark Brandon is on a winning streak to the delight of the internet and 81 million Americans. Record job growth, falling inflation, and record low unemployment, coupled with back-to-back legislative successes in both the Senate and House mean not only that the country is on the rebound, but that we have one man — President Joe Biden a/k/a Dark Brandon — to thank for it.

Even White House Deputy Press Secretary, Andrew Bates, celebrated his boss’s accomplishments while having a bit of fun with “Dark Brandon” mania.

But what does this mean for the American people? Let’s take a look.

Passage of the PACT Act:

Recognizing that millions of U.S. veterans have been exposed to toxic burn pits during service to their country, Biden addressed his commitment to seeing this bill passed during his State of the Union address. This legislation will expand access to healthcare and other benefits, including a monthly stipend for surviving spouses and children, tuition assistance, and healthcare for those with illnesses related to exposure.

According to a statement released by the White House:

” The bipartisan Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act of 2022 is the biggest expansion of benefits for service-connected health issues in 30 years and the largest single bill ever to comprehensively address exposure to burn pits.”

Falling gas prices:

Gas prices have been on the decline for two months. Prices in California —which reached as high as $6.29 at the end of June – have seen a decrease of almost $1.00 per gallon, according to AAA. Though the President’s actions have no direct bearing on the prices themselves, perception is everything – a bonus for Biden, since Republicans were blaming him when the prices were still rising.

Signing the CHIPS and Science Act into law:

The coronavirus epidemic exposed the U.S. over-reliance on China as a supplier of crucial components needed for manufacturing, and now the semiconductor bill will provide over $52 billion to spur domestic manufacturing of vital components for products ranging from cars to computers, reducing America’s reliance on foreign suppliers, CNN reported.

Inflation Reduction Act:

Considered to be one of the Biden administration’s biggest achievements since its inauguration, the IRA will finally allow Medicare to use its market power to negotiate lower drug prices – capping insulin at $35 for beneficiaries and costing seniors no more than $2000 a year in out-of-pocket drug costs. This bill is a huge win for seniors and those on a fixed income.

A $370 million commitment to clean energy development will help the country reduce carbon emissions by roughly 40% by the year 2030.

Even after contracting Covid-19, President Biden continued to work for the American people. While in quarantine, he authorized the drone attack that killed the 9/11 terrorist —the co-orchestrator of the attacks and successor to Osama bin-Laden— Ayman al-Zawahiri.

528,000 jobs were added in July, and unemployment has reached 3.5% – the lowest figure since the levels of 50 years ago.

It appears the American people finally have a president who is working for, instead of against, our nation.

Thanks, Brandon.
