DIABOLICAL: The Secret Service deliberately ignored threats to Nancy Pelosi’s life
U.S. Secret Service agents were aware of threats to the life of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) at least two days before the Jan. 6 Capitol riot but held onto the information until hours after the violent attack.
Emails obtained by the political watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) reveal that on January 4, 2021, the Secret Service became aware of a Parler account that posted multiple threats to the safety of both Speaker Pelosi and President-elect Joe Biden, but it was over five hours after the violent attack began before they were shared with Capitol law enforcement.
At 5:55 p.m. — hours after Capitol and Metro Police first began battling thousands of angry and violent Trump supporters — the Secret Service sent this message:
“Good afternoon, The US Secret Service is passing notification to the US Capitol Police regarding discovery of a social media threat directed toward Speaker Nancy Pelosi.”
The federal agents included a December, 31st post from an account on the far right social media platform, Parler – threatening Pelosi:
“January 6 starts #1776 all over again…Fight for EVERYTHING!”
The list of “enemies” included Speaker Pelosi.
The same account posted on Twitter, also on the 31st:
“TIPS FOR THE BRAVE AND THE COURAGEIOUS PATRIOTS GOING TO DC TO FORCE CONGRESS TO REFUSE BIDEN’S RIGGED ELECTION.”
Two days later a series of social media posts would target the not-yet-certified Joe Biden and glorify committing individual acts of violence:
“Biden will die shortly after being elected. Patriots are gonna tear his head off. Prison is his best case scenario. We’re all on a mission to save America. Lone wolf attacks are the way to go. Stay anonymous. Stay alive. Guns up Patriots.”
The internal electronic communications are alarming, not only because the Secret Service failed to alert Pelosi – third in the line of succession to the Presidency of the United States – but because it suggests a deeper underlying conspiracy within one of the nation’s most important security agencies.
This latest disclosure adds to the recent controversy surrounding the discovery that Secret Service text messages from Jan. 5th and 6th were permanently erased during a pre-planned data reset — despite the fact that the agency was told to back them up in December 2020.
The Dept. of Justice is leading a criminal investigation into the events leading up to the Capitol riot, let’s hope what they discover brings more answers than questions.
