ULTIMATE HYPOCRISY: Florida Sen. Rick Scott slams Biden’s Delaware vacation from a yacht in Italy
Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) took a break from rehearsing for the Skeletor look-a-like competition yesterday to post a tweet criticizing President Biden for taking some time off from the White House to vacation in his home state of Delaware.
Another week of President Biden vacationing in Delaware vs. working at the White House.
If he loves to travel so much, I've got some suggestions as to where he should go next ⬇️

One could dismiss the post as typical political trolling from a senator who oversaw one of the biggest Medicare frauds in history as CEO of Columbia/HCA about a decade ago when the hospital company was fined $1.7 billion for its actions.
Or one could regard Scott’s attack on Biden as an attempt to draw attention away from his failures as the head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the GOP’s fundraising arm for its senatorial candidates across the country, which has faced substantial questions about its fiscal stewardship of campaign contributions as its spending outpaces its donation flow and forced it to cancel ad buys in crucial battleground states for the party.
However, one can not truly appreciate the terminal level of hypocrisy in Scott’s tweet attacking President Biden until you know the fact that Senator Scott posted this attack on the president’s modest hometown summer break while he was luxuriating on a yacht sailing off the coast of Italy.
Once the news of Senator Scott’s billionaire’s travel jaunt became public through a leak by Axios, the mocking response on social media from opponents of blatant partisan hypocrisy began its relentless parade of derision.
In light of recent news I’ve got a new poll! Another week of Rick Scott vacationing on a yacht in Italy vs. working on electing Republicans.

Hey Robber Rick Scott, where is your usual morning tweet attacking President Biden for his failures. Like killing the Al Qaeda leader, passing the PACT Act, passing the inflation reduction act, bringing down gas prices, etc. I’m sure you’ll think of something.

You have the hypocritical nerve to talk about Biden taking a vacation in Delaware?
Trump took a four year vacation… all he did was Tweet, golf and eat Big Macs.— Alene Browdy (@diagirl00491) August 22, 2022

With the Trumpist Republican Party now attempting to pass itself off as the party of the working class while simultaneously doing everything possible to prevent billionaires from paying their fair share of taxes, Senator Scott’s elitist vacation smells about as good as his plans to destroy our current Social Security and Medicare systems, something his fraud committed against Medicare gave him a good start on.
Unfortunately, Floridians will have to put up with Rick Scott as their senator until 2026, but they do have a chance to remove his equally deplorable Republican senatorial colleague, Marco Rubio, in November. It’s a good way to let Rick Scott know that he’ll be next to go.
