DERANGED: Trump rails against the FBI in his unhinged PA rally speech

The ex-Toddler-in-chief was in rare form last night at his rally in Pennsylvania — railing against the FBI search of his Palm Beach home and calling democratically elected Joe Biden an enemy of the state.

Since the August 8th lawful search of Mar-a-Lago, Trump has denigrated our federal law enforcement body and dog-whistled his base, and Saturday night was no different with the twice-impeached former president saying things like this:

“The FBI and the Justice Department have become vicious monsters,  controlled by radical left scoundrels, lawyers  and the media who tell them what to do – you people right there.”

Sadly, his crowd of unthinking supporters applauded.

Trump went on to push the false narrative that the FBI search was a “raid,” telling the rabid crowd:

“The shameful raid and break-in of my home in Mar-a-Lago was a travesty of justice that made a mockery of America’s laws, traditions and principles,” Trump said at the rally, calling it “one of the most shocking abuses of power by any administration in American history.”

Except it’s not. The FBI search of his home was a lawful response to criminal activity, backed up by a court-approved search warrant granted after sufficient evidence of criminality was presented to the judge.

After saying the morning of the rally that, “The FBI…blatantly used their power to get a cognitively impaired Democrat elected President – in two elections,” he said that Facebook founder and CEO “kissed his ass.”

Former President Trump offered no explanation or justification for taking top secret documents to his Mar-a-Lago resort after he left office. Instead, he demonized the investigators who are holding him to account, and singing the same old stolen election tune:

“I ran twice and I won twice and did much better the second time.”

After Trump’s social media announcement that Mar-a-Lago was being searched, violent rhetoric and calls for Civil War increased. His speech at his Wilkes-Barr rally last night echoed that.

The federal investigating wing of the Justice Department served a judicially granted warrant at the former President’s home – retrieving what belongs to the government. But according to the one-term president, it was a “witch hunt.”

For those of us who know better, it wasn’t a witch hunt, but finally the beginning of an effort to hold Trump to the standards of the rule of law.

Accountability is coming for Trump, and he doesn’t like it.
