LAUGH OF THE DAY: Trump says his body is a “perfect specimen”
Ex-President Donald Trump is known for many things and bragging and whining aren’t the least of them. In a deranged Truth Social post on Wednesday morning, Trump managed to do both in a seemingly never-ending post that managed to fit criticizing the FBI and proclaiming physical superiority – into the same run-on rant.
Complaining that the FBI took his “complete and highly confidential medical file” during their August 8th search of Mar-a-Lago, Trump comically added, “I’m very healthy, an absolute perfect physical specimen!”
With Trump being neither modest nor rational, this isn’t the first time the former President has used the words “perfect” and “specimen” together in the same sentence. In 2020, after Trump’s recovery from the coronavirus infection:
“I’m back because I am a perfect physical specimen, and I’m extremely young,” Trump joked to Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, floating the idea that a sparkling health record was the reason for his quick recovery. “I’m lucky in that way.”
Trump told Maria Bartiromo that not only was his health good, but he didn’t “need” life-saving drugs – though it was revealed that the then-President was administered oxygen, steroids, and experimental antibodies while he was at Walter Reed Medical Center. But the truth-deficient narcissist insisted, “I could have been out of the hospital in one day,” Trump said, according to Talking Points Memo.
Despite Trump’s claims of being a bastion of physical perfection, pictures and history say otherwise.
Who can forget his failed attempt to drink a glass of water in June 2020?
This is not the first time trump has needed two hands to drink water because he couldn’t get the glass to his mouth. Trump has always been touchy when it comes to his physical acumen, in 2015 he had his former doctor Harold Bornstein write a glowing letter praising his client’s fitness saying Trump “will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.” “His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary,” the eccentric doctor said.
But three years later, Bornstein would come clean – claiming he wrote the letter at Trump’s direction in an interview with CNN.
“He dictated that whole letter. I didn’t write that letter,” Bornstein told CNN on Tuesday. “I just made it up as I went along.”
One thing’s for sure, the current POTUS has probably never had a doctor transcribe an exaggerating and false letter to prove he’s physically fit – he can ride a bike to demonstrate his vitality to the public. Trump is melting down, and his increasingly unhinged and non-sensical rants come just as the Department of Justice continues to leak damaging information regarding the FBI search and making it harder to deny that Trump is not only a threat to the McDonald’s dollar menu – but an even bigger disaster for national security.
