THE FUROR: Antisemitic right wingnut’s rant was so rancid, even Newsmax fired her
Former CBS reporter and QAnon conspiracy pusher Lara Logan has been unceremoniously dumped by yet another right-wing propaganda-pushing network. Just a year after America’s Der Stürmer – Fox News – gave looney Lara a pointy-toed boot, Newsmax responded in kind following the former 60 Minutes correspondent’s recent racist, antisemitic and xenophobic rant.
Apparently it was a bridge too far, even for a conspiracy theory-pushing, xenophobic media outlet.

Ouch, that’s gonna leave a mark.
Once an award-winning reporter, according to The Daily Beast, Logan has gotten closer and closer to the flat earth’s edge, straying farther away from her previously held mainstream right-of-center views, in favor of the extreme.
“What you see on Dr. Fauci—this is what people say to me: that he doesn’t represent science to them. He represents Josef Mengele,” she exclaimed, adding: “And I am talking about people all across the world are saying this, because the response from COVID, what it has done to countries everywhere, what it has done to civil liberties, the suicide rates, the poverty, it has obliterated economies.”
Apparently losing her gig on Fox Nation for her comments wasn’t the reality check or wake-up call that Logan needed.
Talking with ex-Fox host turned Newsmax shill Eric Bolling, Logan had no trouble piggybacking off the fascist-adjacent political pundit’s assertions that those fleeing poverty, and religious and political persecution, are treated better than United States citizens.
Ahem, 48 Venezuelan migrants would like a word.
When discussing the trafficking of migrants from Texas and Florida to New York and other “Blue” states, Laura Logan sounded rational enough when accusing President Biden of purposefully using migrants to “incite” right-wing violence:
“It’s really interesting because we live in a moment where you can see all over the place that this administration is desperate to incite some kind of event,” she declared. “Incite people to act that will prove the lie of white terrorism and white supremacy in America today and give them an excuse to crack down. They need a Reichstag fire.”
The Reichstag Fire was the catalyst that jumpstarted the Nazis’ complete control, eradicating dissent and any opposing voices–yet these would be the saner statements made by Logan.
Bolling recycled the old, but still used claims that immigrants are “freeloaders,” telling Logan, “Then you get them to agree, get your side to agree, to give these people voting rights. Then you never, ever, see a conservative holding office again,” the Emmy winning journalist had all the rope she needed to go full QAnon.
Talk of Satan, the end of days, global cabals, and likening asylum-seeking migrants crossing our borders to “doing the Devil’s work,” is straight from their playbook.
“God believes in sovereignty, a national identity, of the sanctity of family, and all the things that we’ve lived with from the beginning of time,” she proclaimed. “And he knows that the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world through all of these are people who are stooges and his servants,” The Daily Beast reported.
“The plan was to infiltrate 100 million illegal immigrants, and at that point, there were already 40 million, and these people would dilute what they called the pool of patriots. They would not be taught that America is a great country and trained to sing the national anthem with pride, and so on and so on. They would be taught all the negative things that we’re told about the U.S. today that our own children are taught.”
The South African native is the latest example of the radicalization of someone thought to be at least marginally rational and sane diving deep down the rabbit hole of suspicion, conspiracy, antisemitism, and xenophobia. Logan’s compatriot, fellow South African Elon Musk, has also been pilled, taking a hard right turn, and going all in on right-wing narratives, talking points and fascist-leaning rhetoric.
