STEVE’S SLAP ON THE WRIST: Bannon sentenced to 4 months he’ll probably never serve

Shuffling seditious festering cold sore Steve Bannon was sentenced to a mere four months in prison for being in contempt of Congress because showing up to testify under oath before the January 6th House Select Committee would’ve gotten him a life sentence. But the slap on the wrist is akin to just another rip in the collar of yet another layered polo for Stevie Seven Shirts, who’ll appeal that ruling until he takes his last gasp of free air.
Regular citizens ducking a subpoena from Congress would’ve faced far more severe consequences pretty much immediately, but Bannon’s protective coating of ectoplasm and privilege has so far left him legally unscathed. I guess it’s just hard to make anything stick to someone who’s constantly oozing and molting.
As Bannon bends the American judicial system, his allies (ew) have been rallying around him. Of course, it’s the usual clown car of the worst people, with subhuman clickbait Marjorie Taylor Greene putting her treason front and center as she openly campaigns to be Trump’s VP on his imaginary 2024 campaign.

You can’t run for office from prison, although there aren’t any rules for MAGA, so maybe they’ll figure out a way.

Only he won’t, we all know. Sure, he’s been sentenced, but until I see that barely sentient gin blossom being perp-walked to prison, I won’t believe any justice has been actually served. Trump’s criming cronies will keep getting away with all of their crimes against the United States that no Democrat would be able to duck. I’m so over it all, and so is all of Blue Twitter.
