SERIOUSLY? Herschel Walker reveals his movie monster fantasies with a tale of werewolves and vampires
Republican Herschel Walker is still campaigning as Georgia’s Senate race moves to a runoff, and he continues to make embarrassing speeches that are making people cringe.
In one of his recent campaign speeches, he went into an elaborate story in which he imagines himself as a killer of vampires, and his Democratic opponent, Raphael Warnock, as the vampire villain.
Walker started telling his audience about a movie he watched one night recently. Though he’s not sure of the title, he seems to be describing the 1985 thriller, Fright Night, about a teenager who discovers a vampire living next door.
Walker wasn’t impressed with the movie overall but does say he learned that werewolves can kill vampires, and that he therefore would now like to be a werewolf.
He also tells his audience that vampires are very cool and that when he saw the one in the movie float down from the ceiling, he drew immediate connections to Raphael Warnock.

Other than being cool and looking good in a black suit, Walker never gets around to saying exactly what linked Warnock and the vampire in his mind, but he’s clear on one thing: the Democratic Senator is the villainous monster, and he, Walker, wants to be cast as the supernatural creature capable of destroying him.
“I’m gonna tell you something that I found out — a werewolf can kill a vampire, did you know that? I never knew that, so now I didn’t want to be a vampire anymore, I want to be a werewolf…This vampire, looking real good in that black suit — whoa, that sounds like Senator Warnock, doesn’t it?” Walker fantasized.

Walker is dreaming big, but whether naturally or supernaturally, he didn’t exactly obliterate Warnock in the Senate race the first time around.

Warnock led by just under a percentage point, and tens of thousands of votes — close enough that the two will face off again in a runoff the first week of December.
Unfortunately for Walker, with Republicans having already lost control of the Senate, his GOP supporters are somewhat less likely to show up for him now.
The good news is that, unless he pulls off a surprise win, he should have plenty of free time to find better horror movies to watch.
