The MyPillow Guy says he’s got to pray on it some more, but Mike Lindell’s being encouraged to challenge Ronna McDaniel for the position of RNC chair.
MAGA Republicans are unhappy with McDaniel for a variety of reasons, not least of which is that she has acknowledged Donald Trump’s 2020 loss.
Mike Lindell, who has spent the past two years promoting conspiracy theories, lawsuits, and big events, all centered around the false claim that Trump actually won re-election, is now aiming for a more official role.
Even though he has never produced an iota of evidence to support his claims, Lindell’s persistence has earned him the support of some election deniers, and he says he’s being courted to seek the leadership role.
Though Lindell’s election summits and lawsuits have had a lot in common with infomercials — lofty promises and bluster without any substance — he’s claimed it’s actually the fault of the Republican National Committee that he’s been unable to make any headway.

He even suggested McDaniel had personally sabotaged a complaint that he’s certain would have convinced the Supreme Court that states should appoint electors outside their vote outcomes.
Now he says he’s praying on a decision to boot McDaniel out of her position, and his promise to supporters is that if he’s given the role of RNC Chair, he’ll focus on eliminating voting machines.

(By the way, the lawsuit against him from Dominion Voting Machines has not yet concluded — the Supreme Court just last month ruled that the defamation claim can continue, as Lindell fought to have it dropped.)

On LindellTV, the MyPillow guy semi-coherently said:
One of the things I will tell you, there will never ever stop to get rid of these machines and make this the best elections in world history in our country…I’ll step into that if God willing.

Business Insider reported on his animosity toward McDaniel and the RNC last year, when he was promoting his “Thanks-a-thon” donation drive, and claimed that the RNC Chair had called state attorneys general and told them not to join the complaint. The RNC denied this.
His central claim in that complaint was that electors were improperly chosen, and that, in fact, voters have no right to choose electors by casting their vote:
29. “The individual citizen has no federal constitutional right to vote for electors for the President of the United States unless and until the state legislature chooses a statewide election as the means to implement its power to appoint members of the electoral college.” Bush v. Gore, 531 U.S. 98, 104 (2000) (citing U.S. CONST. art. II, § 1) (“Bush II”).
Running on a promise to eliminate voting machines that he claims are used to steal elections, while facing a defamation lawsuit for falsely claiming that voting machines are used to steal elections, would be a bold move.
It remains to be seen whether Lindell’s prayers and the comment section on his website move him to do so.
that supports ONLY good Democratic candidates
