PLOWED MEADOWS: Court orders Trump's former COS to testify in Fulton County election fraud trial

POLITICO reported on Tuesday that Mark Meadows has been ordered by South Carolina’s Supreme Court to appear before the special grand jury investigating Donald Trump’s attempted election fraud and pressure campaign on Georgia election officials to “find” him the votes he needed to beat Joe Biden.

Meadows, Donald Trump’s former Chief of Staff and the text-bestie of Ginni Thomas, had attempted to duck the subpoena from Fulton County DA Fani Willis, just he had refused to comply with a subpoena from the January 6th House Select Committee.

What a strange way for an innocent and transparent Trump crony to behave.

The five members of the South Carolina Supreme Court described Meadows’s petition as “manifestly without merit.”

Meadows’s partners in crime Lindsey Graham and Rudy Giuliani were similarly compelled to testify in the trial after DA Willis filed in their local jurisdictions, while former General Mike Flynn continues to fight his subpoena.

In his attempts to avoid testifying, Meadows claimed executive privilege to the lower state courts, which universally rejected that argument.

The efforts to avoid testifying just shine a brighter light on Meadows and his extreme actions to help Trump overturn the Georgia election results, especially his trip to the state to oversee the post-election audit himself.

Meadows was also on the infamous January 2nd call when Trump told Georgia Secretary of State to “find me 11,780 votes.”

Now that Meadows has run out of appeals, he’s most likely to invoke his Fifth Amendment rights rather than incriminate himself for his part in election fraud.
