CERTIFIABLE: Now Kari Lake wants people to break the law to prevent AZ election certification

On Tuesday, Arizona gubernatorial loser Kari Lake told fellow conspirator Steve Bannon on his program War Room that she wants officials to break the law and refuse to certify the election.

The election’s certification has already been delayed by Republicans in Cochise County who have refused to certify. And Lake is promising a huge lawsuit to try to overturn the votes that, she claims, could not possibly have gone for her opponent.

“I wish that somebody would say, ‘You know what? Arrest me, then. I don’t care,’” Lake told the bedraggled former Trump advisor. “We need people with courage to say, ‘Class what felony? Go ahead! Go for it! Arrest me, because this is a botched election and you’re disenfranchising the folks in Mohave County when you allow this kind of election in Maricopa County to stand.’”

This is not the only example of Lake resorting to lawlessness.

While the counting was still going on in Maricopa County, an attorney for the Lake campaign told Maricopa County attorney Tom Liddy there were a bunch of “irate people” beyond their control,  saying Liddy should just get them some “good information” – leaving the term somewhat ambiguous, but nonetheless suggestive.

And Ma Lake’s band of crazies have forced the Republican Maricopa Board of Supervisors chair Bill Gates into hiding, as there have been threats against his life.

As Lake made clear in her interview with Bannon, she’s willing to cause a constitutional crisis in the state and essentially stop at nothing to overturn the election that she lost to Democratic Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.

Bannon, for his part, told her that she will indeed be declared the winner:

Right. And I’ll be elected president of Iran.

Arizona is not an isolated case, by the way: Republicans in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania have gone the same route, even though Democrat Josh Shapiro crushed GOP opponent Doug Mastriano by two touchdowns.

And I believe you may be aware, dear reader, of another Republican who has refused to accept the result of an election that he clearly lost.

I won’t say his name, but he’s orange, angry, and would sell the country out in a heartbeat if it brought him an extra dollar.

Ma Lake surely is going to be real mad at Ross after this. But you can show him some love on Twitter, where he needs you! @RossRosenfeld
