GUILTY! Trump Organization faces the consequences of their ILLEGAL actions

The Trump Organization has been found guilty on all counts by the jury in the Manhattan District attorney’s case in New York. Former President Donald Trump was named in the case, though not charged.

The jury deliberated for two days before coming to the verdict.

After three years of investigation, into the company’s sketchy financial dealings, a jury found the Trump Organization was complicit in a scheme to evade taxes and skirt federal law.

According to state prosecutors, the former president “knew exactly what was going on” in regard to the company’s attempts to avoid paying taxes and pass the blame for the nefarious dealings onto the Trump Organization’s employees

Former Chief Financial Officer, Allen Weisselberg, recently pleaded guilty to cooking the books for the company, taking a plea that may guarantee the 75-year-old a reduced sentence.

The longtime Trump Organisation employee downplayed the involvement of the former President himself, telling the court that “nobody in the Trump family knew what he was doing,” NBC 5 reported.

“It was my own personal greed that led to this,” Weisselberg said on the stand.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, celebrated the verdict, saying “This was a case about greed and cheating.”

“In Manhattan, no corporation is above the law,” the DA said. “For 13 years the Trump Corporation and the Trump Payroll Corporation got away with a scheme that awarded high-level executives with lavish perks and compensation while intentionally concealing the benefits from the taxing authorities to avoid paying taxes. Today’s verdict holds these Trump companies accountable for their long-running criminal scheme, in addition to Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg, who has pled guilty, testified at trial, and will now be sentenced to serve time in jail.”

Weisselberg reportedly received nearly $2 million in off-the-books compensation – including a swanky NYC apartment, and private school tuition for family members.

Sentencing for the Trump Organization is reportedly being scheduled for January 13, 2023.

It may not be the most auspicious date for Trump. It’s a Friday the 13th.
