UNHINGED: Jan. 6 Committee announcement triggers a Trump social media MELTDOWN
Donald Trump isn’t taking the news well that the January 6th Select Committee is considering criminal referrals to the Department of Justice for his role in inciting violence on the day of the insurrection and for the surrounding coup conspiracy by him and his allies.
Taking to his fledgling social media platform, Truth Social, the id-driven narcissist went on an unsurprising rage rant on Saturday, claiming that the country is suffering from a deadly societal disease.
“Our country is SICK inside,” the ex-President wrote. ” Very much like a person dying of cancer.”
“The crooked FBI, the so-called Department of “Justice,” and “Intelligence,” all parts of the Democrat Party and System, is the Cancer. These weaponized Thugs and Tyrants must be dealt with, our once great and beautiful Country will die!!!”
It appears that the traitorous former president is trying to get ahead of accountability as the Trump Train veers off democracy’s tracks – deflecting and projecting as the walls of justice close in.
While it may be easy for some to dismiss the former president’s rage posting as the rantings of an unhinged madman, ignoring his rhetoric is the last thing the American public – and the Justice Department – should do.
Not only are his words concerning, but they’re also dangerous.
After months of televised hearings, the congressional panel investigating Trump’s culpability is nearing its end. According to committee co-chair Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the panel’s over 1000-page report could be released as early as Monday, the same day that the final public hearing is scheduled, NPR reports.
And Trump doesn’t like that.
Political Flare reported that the previous day, the angry ex-commander-in-chief insinuated a conspiratorial relationship between Twitter and the FBI. suggesting they were in collusion to persecute the ex-President, despite any lack of proof or substantiation on Trump’s part.
“This (the FBI’s wild and crazy relationship with Twitter) is absolutely a coordinated effort to change Election Results! Rachel Campos-Duffy…and it worked, but they got caught. This is why people protested in Washington. Our 2020 Presidential Election was Crooked, Rigged, and Stolen, and yet the Unselect Committee of Political Hacks & Thugs didn’t spend any time investigating this outrage!” Trump posted.
Trump tried to use these two tweets — posted on January 6th, 2021, before his Twitter account was suspended for inciting violence — to show that he wasn’t actually inciting violence, but he fails to note that he never asks his MAGA insurrectionists to actually withdraw from the Capitol building.

Testimony revealed that for 187 minutes, the then-President refused to denounce the violence taking place at the U.S. Capitol.
Thousands of text messages between former Trump Chief-of-Staff Mark Meadows and members of the “Reich-wing” revealed pleas by pundits and those in Trump’s inner circle – including Donald Trump Jr. — to implore him to call off his MAGA dogs.
With Monday just a day away, the country will get one last look at the machinations of Donald Trump and his allies, and their bold, coordinated attempt to sow discord and subvert democracy.
There’s no amount of shouting at the clouds by the hopefully soon-to-be-indicted insurrectionist that can change that.
