New York City is a great place to be a member of the Proud Boys because the police department constantly looks the other way anytime those mooks show up anywhere.

Journalist Brenna Lip shared videos to her TikTok and Twitter feeds Sunday night showing New York City Transit Police and other members of the NYPD escorting and protecting members of the Proud Boys to the subway — and letting them all ride for free — after they disrupted a Drag Story Hour in Jackson Heights, Queens on December 29th.

Yes, they protested drag queens in Queens. It would be super meta if they all weren’t so weak and terrible.

So proud of being so terrible

Let’s think about this: which would traumatize kids more, having someone wearing a dress and makeup read to them about the ABCs, or seeing a bunch of aggro doofuses screaming about “grooming” outside of their library?

Check out the videos for yourself, then let’s unpack it all.

BTW, I love how some Proud Boys are so proud of themselves, they have to cover their faces. How brave! And yet they wouldn’t wear a mask to stop the spread of COVID, okay losers.

First of all, no one is “grooming” children except these right-wing loonies and the churchy hypocrites.

No one is born hating anyone or believing in anything. Hate is carefully taught.

The indoctrinated are groomed to hate all of the beautiful things in the world, like drag queens and healthcare.

Second, why are the New York City cops protecting the Proud Boys? JK, that’s rhetorical.

They protect them because they’re one and the same, obvs.

As of this writing on Monday, January 2nd, there has been zero response to this from anyone in a position of power in New York, like the Mayor or the Police Commissioner, despite lots of people asking them to respond.

If I had been on the subway at the same time as these terrorists and watched alleged law enforcement give them this much of a pass, I probably would’ve said something that would’ve gotten me arrested.

The Strokes said it best over 20 years ago: “New York City cops, but they ain’t too smart.”
