MASTERFUL: President Biden's energetic State of the Union speech was like no other

President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday was a lesson on how to get it done.

In an empowering and motivating speech highlighting the administration’s accomplishments over the past two years, POTUS gave Republicans a crash course in what leadership looks like.

“My economic plan is about investing in places and people that have been forgotten,” the President said. “That’s why we’re building an economy where no one is left behind.”

“As I stand here tonight, we have created a record 12 million new jobs – more than any president has ever created in four years.”

“Jobs are coming back, pride is coming back because of the choices we made in the last two years. this is a blue-collar blueprint to rebuild America and make a real difference in your lives,” Biden said.

The reaction from the GOP side of the congressional aisle, however, was a reminder of their commitment to performative and partisan politics.

Undeterred by the heckling, stoic silence, and outright disrespect, President Biden never waivered from his pledge to work with both parties to deliver for the American people,  calling on Republicans to do the same.

“To my Republican friends,” Biden said, “If we could work together in the last Congress, there’s no reason we can’t work together and find consensus on important things in this Congress as well.”

We’re often told that Democrats and Republicans can’t work together. But over these past two years, we proved the cynics and the naysayers wrong. Yes, we disagreed plenty,” Biden said.

“And yes, there were times when Democrats had to go it alone. But time and again, Democrats and Republicans came together. Came together to pass a once-in-a-generation infrastructure law, building bridges to connect our nation and people

“Let’s finish the job!” he concluded to thunderous applause and standing ovations.

No stone was left unturned during the State of the Union when addressing the issues facing the nation.

From police reform and protecting Social Security, to holding price-gouging corporations accountable for taking advantage of hard-working Americans, President Biden was laser focused on his message.

“I’ll see you at the groundbreaking,” he said in regard to upcoming infrastructure projects.

There was something for everyone – even the America First crowd.

Reestablishing the United States as a major economic player and trade partner by increasing exports, and reducing imports are key priorities of the administration.

Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, New York, and Georgia are just a handful of states that will benefit significantly from manufacturing investment that has reached the billions, according to the President.

At 80 years young, President Biden proved to be anything but “sleepy,” Tuesday night.

Clear, focused, and quick on his feet the nation’s commander-in-chief took control of the narrative, and stuck to the facts.

Biden is booming and his wins are undeniable.

This a testament to what can be achieved with a President who talks of building roads and bridges – not walls.

“Today, though bruised, our democracy remains unbowed and unbroken,” Biden said.
