SINFUL: Republicans are coming for your porn, peeps
I spend far too much time thinking about what this country would look like if Republicans were taught from childhood that their innate sexual feelings are completely natural and can be expressed in a healthy and satisfying way, either alone or with a consenting partner.
Instead, they’ve all been carefully taught that anything making their privates tingle is bad, so therefore it must be annihilated.
If we have to be miserable, the repressed and suppressed GOP says, we’re going to make sure everyone else is too.
Essentially, they now want to do away with the First Amendment to remove all basic freedoms of choice, including the freedom to have personal thoughts about things.
Anti-sex bills have increased exponentially since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling, as the so-called “pro-life” party immediately used the opportunity to enforce even more population control.
Aside from very wrongfully believing that drag queens are sexual deviants who groom kids into being just like them, the GOP is looking to control both printed and internet content containing anything they deem “icky.”
That includes books in school libraries with LGBTQIA+ themes, information, or by authors from that community.
It also includes anything deemed “risque” material–a standup comedian could be arrested for telling a sex joke if someone was “offended”.
But of course, pornography is the great big booby boogeyman here, with any depiction of a breast or the suggestion of nipples being defined as porn in some of the proposed bills.
So, if an ad for breast pumps shows a hint of a nipple, it’ll be considered pornography.
Eight states have already justified their actions by saying that pornography is “creating a public health crisis” even though porn has been around as long as men have been sporting wood.
Most of these laws are being proposed by “Christian” lawmakers in the same states where minors can legally have sex and get married.
In Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana, the age of consent is 16.
With parental permission, Mississippi allows 15-year-olds to marry, Louisiana 16-year-olds, Arkansas 17-year-olds, and in West Virginia kids of any age.
But tell me more about how the Democrats are the “groomers,” Gross Old Pervs.
The hypocrisy burns white hot, and it would take the entire internet plus several Chrome extensions for me to go through all of the repressed Republicans who’ve literally been caught with their pants down.
