OPINION: Scott Adams' racist rant deserves cancellation

Mediocre white male privilege is a blight on this planet.

And no matter how you try to spin it, fellas, it doesn’t extend nearly as far as you think it does.

The latest example of such weak jealous bullying is “Dilbert” creator and King of the Mediocre MAGAts, Scott Adams, getting himself dropped by more than 75 news services after he went on yet another racist rant in a video broadcast.

We’re not going to link to the video Adams posted, but it’s important that we talk about it, especially since I’m writing this on the “National Day of Hate” (which seems like every day these days).

It pleases me very much to watch a respected news service like Gannett, which owns USA Today and other news outlets, take the right stand against hate speech.

Announcement: The USA TODAY Network will no longer publish the Dilbert comic due to recent discriminatory comments by its creator.

Adams called Black Americans a “hate group” and urged white Americans to “get the fuck away” from them in a recently uploaded YouTube video.

Respected newspapers like the Cleveland Plain Dealer took the time to explain why the remaining 12 readers of “Dilbert” might be disappointed the next time they click through for their daily dose of mediocrity.

“This is not a difficult decision,” writes Chris Quinn, the Plain Dealer’s Editor. “Adams’ reprehensible statements come during Black History Month when The Plain Dealer has been publishing stories about the work being performed by so many to overcome the damage done by racist decisions and policy.”

And now he’s whining about “getting canceled” because that’s what mediocre MAGA racists do when someone tries to stop them from doing their racisms.

Seethe, snowflake. Nobody needs your haterade around here.
