TURNCOAT: Tulsi Gabbard now SLAMS the man she endorsed

Former Democrat-turned-far-right pundit, Tulsi Gabbard, went all in on the right-wing’s anti-Biden talking points by comparing the President to Adolf Hitler and echoing statements the ex-representative made at a New Hampshire rally in October.

Watch the clip below.

In an interview on Fox News Watters Primetime, the former congresswoman– and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate – accused President Biden’s commitment to diversity in his federal appointments of having “the very same geneticist core principles embodied by Nazism.”

“Jesse, what we are seeing is their philosopher identity politics,” Tulsi Gabbard told host Jesse Watters. “This is one of the reasons I left the Democratic Party.”

“They are proud to be judging people, hiring people, selecting people based on race, and let’s be clear how serious of a problem this is,” Gabbard said.

“Tulsi, I think we are all a little tired of the diversity stuff,” the Fox News pundit responded.

Gabbard has done a complete 180 since being elected to congress in 2012 – and not in a positive way.

The former liberal supported then-President Obama and was overwhelmingly elected to serve as co-chair of the Democratic National Committee just weeks after being sworn in her freshman term in January 2013.

There had been rumors that Gabbard wasn’t who she portrayed herself to be, with a history of supporting India’s Hindu-nationalist Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Syria’s controversial authoritarian leader, President Bashar al-Assad – both men have been accused of human and civil rights abuses of minority communities.

The tide began turning after former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton alleged the nation’s first Samoan-American woman elected to Congress was being groomed by Russia to disrupt the electoral balance.

While Clinton didn’t address Tulsi Gabbard by name, it was evident to whom the former First Lady was referring.

“I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton told former Obama adviser David Plouffe in a 2019 podcast interview. “She’s the favorite of the Russians.

It turns out she was right.

After a failed run for president, Gabbard began to pull away from the left.

The right-wing podcast host endorsed Bernie in 2020, but her frequent appearances pushing propaganda on Fox and subsequent defection from the Democratic Party are antithetical to what her former hero stands for.

As a Hindu-American – and woman of color – Gabbard has played right into the hands of those pushing supremacist and anti-diversity ideologies, pandering to the privileged powers that be by being a proxy spokesperson pushing anti-diversity, equity, and inclusion propaganda.

“You look at the core values and core principles of Adolf Hitler and Nazism what is it based on?” Gabbard asked Watters. “It’s based on genetics, this philosophy of geneticism and discriminating based on their genes. That’s the issue here, really, when you cut to the core of it,” she added.

In true gaslighting fashion, Gabbard falsely equates affirmative action practices as being solely race-based.

This is a decades-long stereotype used by those who want to protect the status quo – belittling and dismissing the hard work of those in marginalized communities who have been long been denied a seat at the table.

When President Biden vowed to put the first Black female justice on the Supreme Court, he went above and beyond in his choice.

Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson is one of the most qualified jurists to sit on the nation’s most prestigious bench.

But for Tulsi Gabbard – and those who share her politics and ideologies – none of that matters.

The only agenda is dog-whistling to the deepest and darkest hearts of the Republican base already bitter and angry over being left behind academically, culturally, financially, and career-wise.

“When they are standing there, saying we are proud to be selecting people solely based on race, that is alarming to me on so many levels,” Gabbard said.

“We need leaders who will elect, who will select people based on their character. How committed they are to the Constitution and the capabilities that they bring to actually do the job that they are hired to do most importantly their heart.”

“I think you are right on this point,” Watters responded. “They care about what the administration looks like but they don’t care about what we look like.”
