"SEX-RIDDEN": School libraries should remove the Bible according to this Utah parent

How do you fight a ridiculous book ban by repressed Christians? Point out all the porn in the Bible, for starters.

One Utah parent says they believe the Bible needs to be challenged in Mormon Ground Zero for being “one of the most sex-ridden books around.”

What Does it Mean That the Bible Is Divinely Inspired?Liar liar Bible verses on fire

The Salt Lake Tribune obtained a copy of the (anonymous for their own protection) parent’s petition for the book review of the Bible, which actually might make more people want to read it:

“Incest, onanism, bestiality, prostitution, genital mutilation, fellatio, dildos, rape, and even infanticide,” the parent wrote in their request, listing topics they found concerning in the religious text. “You’ll no doubt find that the Bible, under Utah Code 76-10-1227, has ‘no serious values for minors’ because it’s pornographic by our new definition.”

The code cited is a Utah law that was passed in 2022 to ban any books containing what the state legislature deems “pornographic or indecent” content from Utah schools, both in libraries and in the classroom.

It came after a huge public outcry from conservative parent groups that have been pushing to have titles removed from school shelves.

The parent’s request was received back in early December, with eight pages of annotations attached and listing passages from the Bible that they found to be “offensive and worth reviewing.”

“Get this PORN out of our schools,” the parent wrote in their request. “If the books that have been banned so far are any indication for way lesser offenses, this should be a slam dunk.”

This atheist fully supports fighting hellfire with fire, my friends. Turnabout is absolutely fair play.
