WACO RALLY: Trump moans about the injustice of investigations against him
After years of being bombarded with Donald Trump’s unhinged rants, his latest rally in Waco, TX shouldn’t have been shocking for an exhausted America. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
After landing in the Texas town, the former President kicked off his Waco rally with Justice For All, the musical collaboration he recorded with a group of incarcerated January 6th insurrectionists.
BREAKING: No Joke! After arriving on "Trump Force One" Trump literally just began his rally in Waco Texas by playing "Justice For All" by Donald J. Trump and J6 Prison Choir. It was all downhill from there.
Singing the same tune, the one-term President made the usual false claims that he was the true winner of the 2020 election – again alleging that it was stolen.
“We won in 2016. We won by much more in 2020, but it was rigged,” Trump whined.
In what turned into a nearly all-day event, after enduring hours of vitriolic ravings from MAGA extremists like Ted Nugent, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (R-TX), the former President’s faithful got to listen to Trump drone on about Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into his role in the Stormy Daniels hush money scandal and hear him bash his former protege, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).
“They even had numerous prosecutors resign because I was being treated unfairly,” Trump said of the Manhattan DA’s office. “People actually – in a Democrat area, in a Democrat office – resigned. A lot of them resigned the office because they said ‘you can’t treat a man like this.'”
Yeah, right.
Several prosecutors did resign shortly after Bragg took office, but not for the reasons Trump claims.
Brought in by Bragg’s predecessor as Manhattan D.A., Cyrus Vance Jr., attorneys Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne left in frustration at what some considered was a lack of interest in pursuing the case they’d spent years working on.

Justice feels like prosecution when you haven’t been held accountable, it appears.
Donald Trump spent a significant portion of his Waco speech going after his presumed top adversary – Gov. DeSantis.
“I’m a loyalist, and when a man comes to me – tears in his eyes – and he’s at almost nothing in the polls,” Trump claimed.
He allegedly told DeSantis that he couldn’t endorse the fledgling gubernatorial hopeful because “there’s no way you can win.”
“You’re dead,” he reportedly added.
“Sir, if you endorse me, I’ll win,” the Florida governor supposedly begged. “Please endorse me.”
In a rare moment of truth, Trump went on to call out his potential opponent on his Covid record by reminding right-wing voters that DeSantis shut down parts of Florida during the pandemic.
“When you’re getting a guy – he gets the nomination because of you – and two years later, the fake news is up there saying ‘Will you run against the President? Will you run?’ And he says ‘I have no comment,’ I say ‘that’s not supposed to happen,'” Trump said.

I have a feeling this was Trump being nice. It’s only going to get more hardcore from here. pic.twitter.com/67JjtJLINn

Though he appeared more subdued than in previous recent speeches, subtlety still isn’t Trump’s game.
He spoke of retribution and equated the Biden administration to Stalinist Russia.
“Between our borders, our elections, and the weaponization of law enforcement, banana republic – that’s what we’ve become. Let there be no doubt that the injustices being done – not only to me, but millions across our country will not stand. You will be vindicated and proud.” Trump
TRUMP: “You will be vindicated and proud the thugs and criminals who are corrupting our justice system will be defeated, discredited and totally disgraced.”

Donald Trump has made no secret of his intentions to punish those who he feels have wronged him — if he’s re-elected in 2024 – and of fulfilling his dystopian dreams of autocratic rule.
With rumors swirling that a potential indictment is on the way, Trump is seeing his poll numbers surge in his favor.
Let’s hope that Special Counsel Jack Smith, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, or Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis get to him first.
