OP-ED: Trump's Waco rally is a Mein-Kampf-inspired wake up call to the nation

With you at my side, we will demolish the Deep State We will expel the warmongers . . . We will drive out the globalists. We will cast out the communists. We will throw off the political class that hates our country. . . We will beat the Democrats. We will rout the fake news media. We will expose and appropriately deal with the RINOS [Republicans in name only]. We will evict Joe Biden from the White House. And we will liberate America from these villains and scoundrels once and for all. – Donald Trump, March 4, 2023 at CPAC.

What warmongers?  What globalists? What communists? Which political class hates our country?

In Mein Kampf and his follow-up to it, Hitler spoke in the same generalities.

And since nobody asked the pointed questions as I did above, people just went along with it as the gospel.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that those who surround Trump, if not Trump himself, have sought and found guidance from the strategies employed in Mein Kampf, in the Der Fuhrer’s follow up, in Goebbels’ From the Kaiserhof the Reich Chancellery, and in Australian professor, Stephen H. Roberts’ The House that Hitler Built.

There are many more, but this is quite the start for the inquiring skeptic.

Why would you hold a large rally on the 30th anniversary of an incident that fomented the most anti-government exhibition until a few years later in Oklahoma City, which by the way was inspired by Waco?

Trump went on to repeat again during the Waco rally that he would be an agent for retribution should he win in 2024.  What does that mean exactly?  Has anybody asked?

The liberty of the individual ends where it starts to harm the interests of the collective. – Hitler, May 1939.

Eight years earlier, in 1931, Hitler stated in an interview, “I will tolerate no opposition. We recognize only subordination – authority downwards and responsibility upwards.”

A leopard does not change its spots and yet even with this developing before our very eyes, the memory of 2020 straight through January 2021 is fading like light just as twilight awaits and darkness lurks around the corner.

How many cancer victims have found their illness goes into remission, with cause for cautious optimism and relief, only to find out later that cancer has returned and spread?

We are far from out of the woods in this nation.  We must not lose sight of that.

Sadly, Pandora’s Box has been opened.

We stand at the precipice of something, one way or another, that will define the United States for generations to come– an embracing of the genesis of totalitarianism or the total disavowing of it.
