YUGE TROUBLE: Trump faces a sh*tload of serious charges in first indictment

Reports say that Donald Trump’s sealed indictment contains at least 30 counts of business fraud. The disgraced ex-president just made history as the first former Commander-in-Chief to draw charges from a grand jury. However, the general public widely believes that the indictment is narrowly focused on Trump’s 2016 hush money payoff to porn star Stormy Daniels. To the contrary, it appears that the 45th president is going to face more than two dozen charges. CNN reports:
Donald Trump faces more than 30 counts related to business fraud in an indictment from a Manhattan grand jury, according to two sources familiar with the case…
John Miller reported live on CNN that it is actually 34 criminal counts per his sources. The Trump Organization was convicted on 17 counts of tax fraud last year. Its CFO, Allen Weisselberg, is currently serving a five-month jail sentence on Riker’s Island for related business fraud charges. Weisselberg made news Wednesday when his lawyers withdrew from his case, setting off speculation that he may be fully cooperating with prosecutors. The Trump Organization is also facing an October 2nd, 2023 trial date that is “written in stone” per the judge in a business fraud case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James. That case is worth up to a $250,000,000 penalty and even could result in the dissolution of the Trump Organization, which is likened to the corporate death penalty. Trump is expected to be arraigned next Tuesday, according to his lawyers. This is two weeks from the date after he first predicted his arrest. Considering that the ex-president’s business venture is a convicted felon, his imprisoned Chief Financial Officer is a convicted criminal – who testified for the state while continuing to be on the Trump organization’s payroll – and his company is facing a massive civil case, it’s not a stretch to believe that multiple business frauds could underpin an indictment of Donald Trump. By next Tuesday, we should get a complete copy of the numerous criminal allegations against Trump that the Manhattan grand jury approved. Here’s the report on CNN:
