OVER: Arizona governor seeks dismissal of Kari Lake final challenge

The Democratic Governor of Arizona has officially had enough of her former Ultra MAGA opponent’s challenges to their 2022 race.

As she reportedly mulls a Senate run (lol), Kari Lake has kept the courts busy since her refusal to accept her loss to Katie Hobbs in November.

Claiming election fraud and misconduct a la her Daddy Hero Donald Trump, most of Lake’s lawsuit has been dismissed.

Now Gov. Hobbs is asking for the final claim in Lake’s dragged-out lawsuit to be thrown out entirely instead of moving forward.

One of the attorneys representing Hobbs said Lake’s allegations are “wholly untethered to reality.”

Lake, meanwhile, is tweeting about yet another “bombshell” to prove the fraud that no other court has ever found.

“The sabotage was worse than we thought,” Lake tweeted Trumpily on Thursday. “We have some bombshells to share with you …”

See if you can decipher this MAGA word salad, as reported by AZCentral.com:

Lake’s allegations involve “devious Maricopa County elections officials” who conducted “secret testing” of tabulators and knew, weeks before the election, that 260 of the county’s 446 vote counting machines would fail.

In response, one of the attorneys representing Katie Hobbs said Lake’s allegations are “wholly untethered to reality.”

YOU DON’T SAY.

The courts aren’t having any of Lake’s crappie.

The Arizona Court of Appeals rejected Lake’s assertions of ballot tampering in February.

The Appeals Court said there was “no evidence to support” Lake’s claim that over 35,000 ballots were added to vote totals.

That court also sanctioned Lake’s lawyers $2,000 for making false statements when saying more than 35,000 ballots had been improperly added to the total ballot count.

The Arizona State Supreme Court declined to hear nearly all of Lake’s appeals the next month.

This brings us to Friday — when a judge heard arguments on whether or not Lake’s final manufactured claim should move ahead to a trial next week.

The Court of Public Opinion has already ruled against Lake, but please check back for updates once we get the actual judge’s ruling.
