SIZE MATTERS: Trump — of all people — fat-shames Chris Christie

Between the two presidential candidates, which one has obsessed about size, bringing it up over and over?

Donald Trump says that his newly-announced primary rival, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, was too focused on size in his Town Hall event and presidential announcement.

He suggested his opponent might “have a psychological problem with size.”

Christie described both Trump and his presidential predecessor Barack Obama as divisive figures who “made us smaller” during their terms.

He argued that both were responsible for creating division between different groups and particularly expressed that Trump had done so by “pitting one group against another.”

Trump revealed that he’s paying close attention to his opponents entering the race and that he took exception to Christie’s words, with a social media post.

In it, he blasted Christie as a “failed governor” and said his speech was rambling and boring — but he really focused on the word “small.” He said:

“How many times did Chris Christie use the word SMALL? Does he have a psychological problem with SIZE? Actually, his speech was SMALL, and not very good.”

It’s ironic, given Trump’s own obsession with size — and not just his overuse of the word “huge.”

During his first presidential campaign, he referred to then-candidate Marco Rubio as “liddle Marco,” for instance.

In fact, that set off a series of exchanges between the two — you’ll see a little montage below — that included Trump boasting before an audience that his hands are beautiful and his genitals are not undersized.

Maybe Trump has a short memory, or maybe he’s projecting, but he definitely has a record of obsessing over size.

Below, see Christie describing how he feels that both Obama and Trump made the nation a smaller place.

Check out the clip below to see Trump and Rubio attacking each other on ‘size’ during the 2016 presidential campaign. Trump said:

“He said I had small hands…I never heard that one before I’ve always had people say, ‘Donald you have the most beautiful hands’…and he referred to my hands, if they’re small something else must be small — I guarantee you there’s no problem, I guarantee.”
