INSANITY: Evangelical Bizarro World comes to Trump Doral resort

The Reawaken America tour is an evangelical program pushing the most extreme conspiracy theories out there — so there’s no question who they support for POTUS in 2024. Naturally, the tour is holding events at Trump properties, and this weekend, they performed at his Doral Resort, where they told tall tales of mermaids and blood drinking.

Jimmy Levy, for instance, a far-right musical artist who has gone from American Idol to the Trump Train, had a lot to say about Hollywood.

Levy spouted an antisemitic claim, revived by Q-Anon, that the biggest stars are engaging in the satanic torture of children to terrify them and cause the production of adrenochrome, before drinking the victims’ blood for psychedelic effects.

He claims he learned this during his American Idol Hollywood week, which was coincidentally in the same time period when Q-anon began circulating this unsupported (and frankly ridiculous) claim.

“These people are drinking the blood of children,” he claims in a clip you’ll see below, going on to insist that “these people worship the devil” and that despite the (well-deserved) mockery the claims received from rational decent people, “It’s true!”

(Spoiler: it isn’t.)

He wasn’t the only one who brought the world of fantasy and science fiction onstage to the Doral resort, though.

There’s also self-proclaimed “prophet” Amanda Grace, who is really worried about the proliferation of mermaids and other “water people.”

“I have never seen more images of mermaids and water people in my life. That’s a division in the Kingdom of Darkness and they’re highly technologically advanced…We are meant for hand-to-hand combat…Darkness has completely covered and eclipsed the White House of this nation,” Grace claimed.

Aside from the utter insanity of technologically-advanced mermaids taking over the White House on behalf of the Kingdom of Darkness, calling for ‘hand-to-hand combat’ with said evils — while speaking to a demographic that has already carried out one violent attack on democracy — isn’t really a great take.

Check out Levy’s story below.

Incidentally, he claims to be happy that he’s being criticized for espousing insane and dangerous views, because the criticism ensures that more people hear his “truth and wisdom” — but take that with a grain of salt, since he says it in a tweet that no one can respond to unless they’re one of the 162 accounts he follows.

Then there’s Grace and her mermaids. The good news is, since mermaids do (canonically) have hands, she won’t have to adapt for hand-to-fin combat instead.
