TARGETED? Trump fans SHOCKED by his Pride merch
MAGA extremists have forced chain store giant Target to remove some Pride Month merchandise after some individuals began destroying displays and threatening employees with physical violence.
The annual right-wing outrage over Pride merchandise has also extended to Bud Light, the North Face, Kohl’s, and any other brands opening supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
There’s even a “MAGA rapper” who’s jumped on the grifting opportunity of the month with his “Boycott Target” video shot in…a Target.
But all of these carefully taught haters might have to rethink the whole boycott bullshittery once they see the Trump/Pence 2020 campaign’s “Make America Great Again” Pride merch.
Shared on Twitter by our pal Patriot Takes, the shirts and hats offer the MAGA slogan in the same rainbow colors currently driving Trump fans insane enough to destroy store displays.
Unlike most of Trump’s products, these items were “proudly Made in USA.” Honestly, if they had true tolerance, that literally would make America great always:
“Show your support for the LGBT community and the 45th President with this exclusive Make America Great Again Pride T-shirt.”
On the one tiny hand, this is inclusivity. On the other, it’s bogus and pandering, because Trump’s anti-LGBTQ record is well-documented.
Plus, I think we all know why Mike “Where’s Mother?” Pence pushes his own hateful homophobic rhetoric hidden behind Bible quotes.
However, that merch is still a real thing, so how will MAGA react?
I’m just kidding, we already know.
They’ll either say it’s a “deep fake” or they’ll say nothing and move the goalposts away from Trump.
Either way, we now have a non-verbal way to respond to any Pride hate from MAGA from now on. Sometimes a silent protest can be the most effective.
And it won’t be with janky face tattoos, either.
