Trump Just Announced He Will Eliminate Every Violence Against Women Grant & Program
Incoming president and serial sexual predator Donald Trump’s transition has just taken a horrific turn. His team is planning to get rid of every single grant program that Department of Justice (DoJ) has to fund measures to eliminate violence against women.
We have known for a long time that Trump a serial misogynist and, by his own admission, a perpetrator of sexual assault, but the real danger women will face under a Trump presidency is shocking.

Trump’s Administration is attempting to cut back government spending by a minuscule amount at the expense of the physical safety of women across the country. The grants being cut also fund measures to protect children who have witnessed or been victims of domestic violence and provide the services they need to heal.
In the United States, nearly 20 people per minute are abused by a spouse – ten million men and women every year. 20,000 calls to domestic violence hotlines are placed every day. One in three women will be abused by a partner in her lifetime, and one in five will be severely abused – only 34% of them will get medical attention for their injuries. It is an unspoken epidemic that our nation refuses to acknowledge – and now women will have nowhere to run to.
Trump is already betraying American women, who had to fight long and hard for protection under the law. His despicable personal views on women have immediately seeped into policy, and there is no telling how much further they will go.
